Luxury 1 bedroom apartment is the perfect place to stay during your DC visit. Incredible location, historic neighborhood, metro-accessible. Apartment is on the same street as the Capitol & Library of Congress, only a few blocks away.

The National Mall includes the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, the National Museum of American History, the National Museum of Natural History, the National Air and Space Museum, National Museum of the American Indian, the National Gallery of Art, and the Smithsonian Castle. Museums and memorials are spread out but are all walk-able from each other.
From your front door, the White House is a 24 minute metro ride away, the Library of Congress is a 9 minute walk away, and the Capitol is just next to that.
You will love staying in this historic area. What started out as an area for members of Congress to in the late 18th century, has now become Washington DC's largest residential historic district. The neighborhood is beaming with color and charm. Dozens of restaurants just a 3 minute walk away. Small grocery store closeby, as well.
Located close to two metro stops (a 6 minute and a 9 minute walk). It's a 3 minute walk to the bus stop. Uber is readily available. Most tourists sites are easily walkable!
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period. ...
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.
5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

The apartment was exactly as pictured. Very clean space. Location was excellent-great neighborhood for walking and quiet for a city neighborhood.

The place was great. Easy check in instructions. We bought street side parking permit from sojourn and it was perfect.
The apartment is well designed, great interiors, clean, thoughtful and compact. It was great for the 3 of us. The bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom was well kept. The sofa bed was sufficient and comfortable. The kitchen lacked counter space but was manageable. The washer dryer was a god sent.
We needed a blender and the team ensured we got one for our stay. They mortally bought a brand new one so we could use it. This was great for us.
The neighborhood is just fantastic. Mostly very quiet. Lovely to walk.
The place is walkable (20-30 mins) to the Capitol and the museums at the National Mall. In fact, we walked all the way to Lincoln Memorial and back because we loved the place and the walk.
Overall, the best stay for us across Boston, NYC, NJ and DC. Highly recommend.Show more
